Start your Sunday (Dec 13) off right in downtown Grand Rapids, with an entree and choice of drink at Grand Rapids Brewing Co. and a ticket to a screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts. You’ll meet up with Chris Randall at GRBC at 11:00am to discuss his film selection over brunch. Then, it’s just a quick jaunt up Fulton for a 1:00pm screening in UICA’s 195-seat, state-of-the-art digital, Dolby© certified theater.
$20.00 ticket includes: Brunch entrée, one drink, a film lecture, complimentary admission to UICA galleries, and a film screening at UICA.

Admission to see the film without the brunch and lecture component is just $4 for UICA Members and $8 for Non-members. Tickets to the film can be purchased at UICA's Guest Services desk.
An imposing black structure provides a connection between the past and the future in this enigmatic adaptation of a short story by revered sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke.
