Contemporary art creates opportunities to address contemporary issues.
Teenagers are invited to confront topics of race, religion, and politics through conversations with peers in UICA’s galleries and through collaborative art-making activities in The Studio. Led by Fable the Poet of The Diatribe, and inspired by the artwork of Carrie Mae Weems, guests will create and alter self portraits with text to construct works that reflect how they self-identify.
UICA Members: $10, Public: $15
