Internships

Interns at UICA play a crucial role in the growth and success of our programs. These positions are unpaid volunteer positions that works alongside UICA staff.

Availability for these positions is based on the needs of individual departments within the limitations of staff, space, exhibition schedules, and the varying potential for challenging intern projects. UICA’s hiring committee considers candidates with interests in several areas of the institution, including membership and development, education and community events, exhibitions, volunteer and docent programs, marketing and communications, and special events. UICA selects a diverse group of talented students from a highly competitive pool of applications.
