Open Projector Night
The Open Projector Night series is a venue for local filmmakers to present their work in Grand Rapids.
It's not Open Mic Night,
it's Open Projector Night.
Celebrate short films with the Open Projector Night series, a recurring event that presents the work of local, regional, and national filmmakers with a connection to Michigan, in either content, location, or crew. Enjoy a diverse range of screenings from animated narratives and commercial work to experimental pieces. After the event, participate in a question and answer panel with the filmmakers and vote for your favorite short film. Winners receive a number of awards, including special screenings of their work before UICA's feature films.
