Your donations help grow the creative community and the creative economy in West Michigan. Individual, joint, and family contributions to UICA’s Annual Fund make the presentation of contemporary art to children, residents, and visitors possible.

UICA relies on your gifts to bring art to its galleries, mount shows, pay artist honorariums, equip its spaces with lights, lifts and other equipment, provide supplies for the education programs, and show independent films in the theater using the latest technology.

Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. UICA is part of Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. You will receive a letter acknowledging your donation from The Ferris Foundation.

Underwriting and Sponsorships

Contact Kristen Taylor, Development Officer, at 616.454.7000 X17 or to learn more about underwriting and partnership opportunities.

Program underwriting is a powerful opportunity for individuals, foundations and corporations to meet philanthropic, client hospitality, communication, and community engagement goals. UICA’s arts programming provides a leading edge venue along with a record of service to the youth and creative cultures in the area and an engaged, influential audience. Our community depends on the UICA to be a magnet for contemporary arts development, exhibition, and education. Our partnerships with donors make that possible, while providing recognition and tax benefits in return. In addition, UICA chooses local vendors and products whenever we can, which reinvests your contributions in the regional economy.

UICA is grateful for underwriting gifts from individuals, foundations, and businesses, and will work with donors to maximize these partnerships to meet your individual goals.

Underwriting opportunities are available in the following areas:

  • Artist Honorariums

  • Educational Programs

  • Exhibitions

  • Movie Theater

  • Special Events
