UICA Exhibitions Curator Juana Williams

Trekking across the state from the Motor City, Juana comes to UICA from Detroit, MI, where she earned her BA in Art and MA in Art History, both from Wayne State University. As the Exhibitions Curator, Juana spends her days at UICA narrating stories and building connections through curation. She also enjoys reading and traveling, often simultaneously.

Nick Hartman - Film Coordinator

UICA Film Coordinator Nick Hartman

Nick is a simple guy who loves cinema, heavy metal, and skateboarding. If he isn’t in a dark room watching movies, you can find him at his favorite Grand Rapids watering hole. Nick graduated with a degree in Film and Video from Grand Valley State University, and uses his knowledge to bring the best selection of films to the Grand Rapids community at the UICA Theater.

Brandon Belote - Audio & Video Technician

UICA Audio & Video Technician Brandon Belote

Brandon earned his BFA in Drawing from KCAD, and now supervises the technology in the UICA Film Theater. A nerd at heart, Brandon spends his time working on video projects and playing chess. He has shown in art and film festivals around the world, and started the Open Projector Film Series at UICA to help bring together filmmakers in West Michigan.

Along with several years of experience in marketing & communications, Chris brings to UICA a BFA in Visual Communications / Graphic Design from Kendall College of Art and Design. Chris is excited that he now gets to use his background to share UICA with our community—and beyond. Whether you find him at his desk or at a coffee shop, it’s likely there’ll be a cup-of-joe within arms reach.
